Our Story
Where it began…
In 1986 our grandparents Ilario & Teresa Maiolo invited our parents Maria & Chez Bombardieri to join them on a new venture in the flower growing industry. The business was Maiolo & Bombardieri Flowers (better known as M&B Flowers) . As the flowers grew so did our business, we were selling our fresh flowers from a shed in between the 2 properties on Dawkins Rd Two Wells, while Chez delivered to the local florists & sold from a stand at the Adelaide Flower Market. As Kids growing up on the farm we learnt how to drive a tractor before a car & during school holidays there was no such thing as a sleep in as we were up at 2am to go delivering with dad. However in 2006 Mum & Dad took on a new career venture.
Skip to A few years later…
The year is 2020, the pandemic of COVID19 had hit Australia, it was also the year Two Wells Flowers was born, the children that once helped are now older with their own families and ready to help Nonno, Mum and Dad again. Two Wells Flowers supply many local florist & retail stores with our freshly picked local flowers. In just 2 years we have grown our range of flowers and now offer many different seasonal varieties & beautiful colours. We have also extended our business as Two Wells Florist, providing the local community beautiful arrangements that accommodate all budgets.
